Preferred Area of Practice:  Estate Planning and Administration, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Probate Matters, and Corporate Matters.

Born and raised in Trail, B.C., Allison completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria and graduated from the Faculty of Law at UNB in 1997.  She articled in Prince George at Heather Sadler Jenkins and was called to the bar in 1998.  She was an Associate there for many years before joining a Prince George lumber company as in-house counsel.  She joined Marcotte Law in Prince George in 2022 where she focused mainly on wills and estates and real estate.

Allison was a member of the Prince George Estate Planning Council, and a past board member of the Northern Patient Care Quality Review Board and the Crisis Centre for Northern B.C.  She also acted as a part-time Business Law instructor at the College of New Caledonia for several years. Allison and her spouse are excited to be a part of the Cowichan Valley community.
