Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Elliot graduated from the University of Victoria’s Faculty of Law, after attending the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George for undergraduate studies where he earned a joint major in English and Political Science, while playing varsity men’s basketball. He was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2022 and is a  member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Cowichan Valley Bar Association and acts as Secretary of the Board of Directors at an Island Montessori school.

Elliot joined Ridgway & Company in 2024.
